the method behind the science
It is advisable on first cleans to use normal water to remove heavy grime build up and complete with a final rinse de-ionisation water. Subsequent cleans can then be done directly with the deionisation.
How does de-ionization work?
DI Resin is the small bead-like substance that makes the entire water de-ionization process tick. It catalyses the ion exchange that rids the water of every non-essential charged ion, creating highly purified water applicable for medical, bio or laboratory and window cleaning use. Basically all impurities are removed from household water.
Is Cation Resin Toxic?
As supplied, new or used ion exchange resins generally are not hazardous and therefore are not considered as hazardous waste.
